What I Can Share with Hosts
I welcome visitors from Canada and abroad. I have a couple of spare rooms with bunk beds available as well as the couches in the living room. I can host 3 or 4 max guests at a time. I live in a small home with my 1.5 year old son and he sleeps in the room across from me and sometimes he wakes in the night. He generally goes to Daycare during the weekdays. He is a fun-loving happy child.... I would appreciate that he is acknowledged by guests that choose to stay with us - I realize some people might be kid-free and happy without kids in their life.. but I want my son to be acknowledged as a person who lives here too. Feel free to message me if you are looking for a friendly place to stay for a night or 2. We live in a quiet residential area of town and it is about a 10-15min walk to downtown Huntsville. We LOVE living in Muskoka and would love to share the beauty of the area with you! We welcome sharing meals together or a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. NO SMOKING in the house, NO PETS. My son has allergies and therefore I try and keep my house smoke and pet FREE. I welcome sharing stories of travels, and I enjoy a great conversation. I am a documentary filmmaker and I am working on a film right now about the killer whales in British Columbia. I have hosted couch surfers and I have been on this site for a few years... I really enjoy meeting new people and hosting is a way that I am giving back in a small way and helping to create more peace and love in this world.
