About Me

Hey Team CS

Live in a spacious city apartment with my boyfriend Jasón.

I live in the city centre so its pretty much convenient to all public transport and the tourist sites. The airport Skybus stop is also just a few minutes walk away.

I left Couchsurfing for a time as I was hosting people in my home from Airbnb (make money from what you love as they say). Hosting people in my home for money has never felt right and doesn’t go in line with my core values here I’m back.

AS A HOST: Some local perspective, a safe place to relax, and a bit of sightseeing together.

AS A SURFER: Hmm, can't cook to save myself(unless eggs on toast is considered cooking?) and will probably take up all the electrical plugs in your house as I'm traveling with more electronics than a space shuttle. Love to meet other couchsurfers and locals while in a city so don't worry about me taking up all your time.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is like tennis: you have no control on how the ball will come to you, but it's how you hit it back that counts!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found out about couchsurfing when I picked up a hitchhiker. We got on really so I showed him a few sights, offered him a place to stay, and he told me about this site.

I've hosted a number of people since and had some great experiences. Now that I started travelling, I have surfed many couches and it's just great to see places from a local perspective.

I've organised various couchsurfing events and gatherings in Auckland such as the Auckland Anniversary Celebrations and Balloons Over Waikato. Have also attended many others such as the Rainforest Express Trainride, trip to Piha beach, CS drinks, various dinners, Christmas lunch and New Years Eve celebrations.

And many more to come no doubt....
