About Me
Hey Couchsurfing community!
*** My main pic is the latest of me, all others are old***
I am a nudist and always naked at home. Ideally guest participate in being nude but not compulsory. I also attend nude beaches and you’re welcome to join me. Make sure you mention this in your request so I know you’re aware.
I’m based right in the city centre of Auckland, super close to public transport, most tourist spots, and just a short walk from the SkyBus stop to the airport — very handy for arrivals and departures.
I’m generally pretty active and like to keep a good balance between doing things and downtime. I enjoy good conversations, getting to know people from different backgrounds, and sharing a bit of everyday life rather than doing constant tourist-mode.
I left Couchsurfing for a while when I started hosting through Airbnb. While it was interesting, hosting for money never quite felt right to me. I missed the genuine connection and cultural exchange that Couchsurfing is really about — so I’m back.
Life philosophy-wise:
Life is like tennis — you don’t control how the ball comes to you, but you do control how you hit it back.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here for real human connection, cultural exchange, and shared experiences — not just a free place to stay or a spare bed to offer.
As a host, I like to spend the first or second evening together with my Couchsurfers to get to know each other a bit — maybe a chat, a walk, or something casual. After that, everyone can do their own thing if they like.
As a surfer, I enjoy meeting locals and other Couchsurfers while exploring a city, but I don’t expect hosts to entertain me the whole time. I’m pretty independent once I’ve got my bearings.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste is pretty broad and mood-dependent.
Music:
Anything from chill electronic and pop to deeper, more emotional stuff — usually something that fits the moment rather than a specific genre.
Movies & TV:
I enjoy films and series that are well-written, character-driven, or visually interesting. Not big on mindless watching, but very happy with a good recommendation.
Books:
Mostly non-fiction — psychology, personal development, and the occasional book that makes you think a bit differently about life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Built a life and career that lets me host people, travel, and keep learning — even when it hasn’t always been easy. I’m proud of continuing to show up, try new things, and stay open to connection, even when that feels uncomfortable. Growth hasn’t been a single moment, more a series of small brave steps.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share:
• Local Auckland insight
• Gym access and wellness routines
• Honest conversations about life, travel, and personal growth
• A calm, respectful hosting environment
I’d love to learn:
• About different cultures and ways of living
• What motivates people to travel
• New perspectives — especially ones different from my own
I enjoy:
Exchanging stories, ideas, and experiences — without pressure or expectations.
