Overview
About Me
I was born in the USA but raised on a farm in New Zealand.
I love me some adventures! Hiking, horse riding, fishing, traveling, making awesome things, and touching all the animals! >:D *freakin love animals*
I work from home so work is flexible (but I do try to stick to a Mon.-Fri. scheduled)
We (my husband and I) are always up to something fun on the weekends and you're always welcomed to join in if possible. :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Free accommodation why else? hahah just kidding, it's great fun meeting new people and getting to explore there town/city with there advice (and with them if they are free) and like-wise I find it fun to show people around, give them tips about my town and where all the fun and free places are to visit. =D
And of course...the free accommodation is a bonus for all guests!
Interests
1. Making costumes, it's also my full time job. This year I want to make a realistic raptor to run around in scaring people harharhar.
2. Animals I love em! I'm often a caregiver for cats while they are up for adoption.
3. And traveling of course, we had our last adventure in the USA between Jan-Feb 2015 and can't wait for more!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Pretty much the whole lot except "Heavy Metal" it's always changing with my mood. The new pop stuff is great but fades fast and the oldies are always goodies.
Movies: Django, Avatar, Children Of Men, Rat-Race, Her, Fight Club, Life of Pi, Lion King (heaps more)
Books: I can't help it! xD I love the Harry Potter series so much haha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Have six instead:
Cuddled a baby elephant and rode an adult one in Nepal,
pat a baby lion (that then tried to eat my toes.) swam with dolphins, went in a shark cage, walking over old lava flows in Hawaii and hung out with fifteen orca once all day.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach, Learn, Share? Mmm well
I can teach you how I make animal costumes, and the best pancakes ever!
Always willing to learn new things from others.
And we can share our food, stories, and maybe do a gift swap! =D
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, tips about New Zealand (the best places to go), dinner outings or breakfast/lunch, souvenirs if we have any on us and my husband is a good cook, (I only make pancakes but they're the best damn pancakes) ;D
