ABOUT ME

I'm a medschool student, playing guitarr, loving music, and now, I take one year off to see the world. I think, this is something you have to do, and preferably, when you're young.
I have no problem whatever entertaining myself in a new environment, as long as there are people about. The best way of getting to know the country is socializing with the people there no? :)

Haa, after reading about a few coaches, I will also add: I don't smoke, do drugs, or drink. I don't drink because it costs me money, for which I instead could buy food for another day ^^ Besides, if you don't drink, you can party EVERY day (without a headache :D!)

Also, I am unchangably straight, but not homophobic. On the contrary, I like to challenge my world view, BUT, believe me, I'm still straight in a way that won't ever change.

Well, of COURSE once I have a stable adress again, people can come and go as they please, as long as they don't mind sharing a room. This will only add some spice to my life^^

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Alright, I've stayed with a couple of hosts now. My first impression is that it's HARD to get a host! For instance, I've sent 75 couchrequests to Toronto right now, and I managed to get roof above my head for the first two days!! And that's with a personal message, filled out profile, a lot of pictures and good references.

Otherwise, I think I'm addicted to this now. Couchsurfing seems like a "Good People Trap", where the most awesome people end up, and it continues to enrich my life, with new perspectives, ways to conduct your life, and various new things that I learn every day.

Recently I trecked down the grand canyon in pitch black darkness, without flashlights or anything, but armed with a switchblade and sunspray if a mountain lion would jump me. That was exciting.
