I am traveling with more of a direction now, seeking out the dancemaking, art making webs in different places. Noticing the overlap. What do we have in common, what can we learn?

ABOUT ME
I live in Montreal, that's where my main hub of dancing, making puppets, teaching and friend-family lives.

Inconvenience has always catalyzed beauty; I welcome mishap to shape memories, and all the space time in between is sweetened by wandering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I first started traveling after high school couchsurfing was the biggest gem; so many of my most exquisite adventures are in thanks to this crazy community. 
I like to know this exists, and to take part when I can.
I love meeting people who want to show me around their parts of the world, their secret spots. I love already having a friend when I arrive in an unknown place, who might have a floor I can dream on.

Books. Lately I've been having trouble reading fiction...
I like to read things that i can't fully grasp, like books on astronomy and physics.
I like philosophy Bataille, Derrida, Beaudrillard, Foucault, Berlant... I wish I had the names of more ladies in there. I love Chris Kraus and semiotexte.

I love the radio.
Mississippi work songs, Louisiana blues. The banjo.
Erased Tapes, Constellation Records.
Michael Hurley, Molly Drake, John Frusciante, Dawn of Midi...
Music like food, I like good stuff, different things on different days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the full moon rise above the Bekaa valley. With a group of strangers at midnight, we revered her together, hot cocoa and sesame biscuits in hand.
