ABOUT ME

I'm irish, living and working in Belfast. Have a strong wanderlust inside me which bursts out several times a year so i'm always on holidays! Would love to spend longer in one place but usually the longest i travel for is about a month... but i'm working on that :)
I rarely refuse an invite, I like animals, sports, the wilderness, interesting conversations, and cups of tea!

PHILOSOPHY

Without getting too gushy... I live life for the moment, try to have fun and be nice to people. I don't stress out for much, certainly not for work, and if something goes wrong i'll fix it and move on. Life should be easy :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS because a friend said i'd love it and i trust her opinion... she's been couchingsurfing all over the world and has had mostly great experiences. Since joining myself I have had ONLY great experiences and met a lot of people I will keep as friends forever.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted quite a few people now and hope to have lots more. I have only been hosted once so far but it was everything I could have hoped for! Looking forward to continuing the journey and meeting lots of random, interesting people along the way...

Musik, Filme und Bücher

A few books I really like - Ender's Game, Call Of The Wild, Four Corners by Kira Salak, and Gates of Fire by Stephen Pressfield.
I like world cinema, Monty Python movies, and of course Indiana Jones!
I love music gigs and festivals and can listen to pretty much anything except R&B. Few of my favs are Sigur Ros, The Rolling Stones, Lucy Rose, Amadou & Miriam, plus lots lots more...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I went tramping in the beautiful New Zealand outdoors, had lunch in a cave to avoid the rain, got chased by a variable oyster catcher bird, and slipped and sprained my ankle :) It was the best 5 days ever!

I can teach you Kung Fu :)
I like to learn foreign languages if you can teach me some.

Ireland around christmas time is good for parties and pubs; wait until May if you want to see the beautiful scenery. One thing's for certain though, it can and will rain any day of the year!
