Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
see a different part of America before I retire into grad school
ABOUT ME
let's see: finished college last year, majoring in physics and math, but also loving my classes in biology, chemistry, romantic lit., mushroom gathering, poetic rhythm, etc. But I realized that physics was my home and I'll start my PhD in the fall.
Fell in love with the outdoors during college in beautiful Ithaca, New York
Took a year off and travelled in Europe for 3 months, then enjoyed a lovely Boston winter, where I got a chance to catch up on all the books I didn't read while studying physics.
Can become seriously interested in pretty much everything, have become seriously interested in about half of everything. I love to hear about what other people are interested in.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't be too attached to what you think you know, always be willing to try something new and be surprised
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started couchsurfing while travelling through Europe with my best friend last fall. We surfed in 5 countries, attended a meeting in Munich, and met a ton of cool people. I am now headed out in America and hoping to continue to surf. And when I get my own place this summer, I will finally start hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have surfed in Galway, Ireland; York, England; Hamburg, Germany; Cologne, Germany; Mainz, Germany; Bamberg Germany; Munich, Germany; Bologna, Italy; Naples, Italy; Granada, Italy
soon to start hosting in Cambridge, MA
for evidence that I am not sketchy, check the refs. on my friend Lisa's profile -- we shared an account while we travelled together.
