Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since 2009, I've met really outstanding people through CS, including some of my best friends. I used to attend weekly meetups in Cambridge and all kinds of social events around boston, but haven't found the time to do it as of late. I do occasionally host people, and I surf here and there on my travels.
Lately I’ve enjoyed just connecting with the local communities wherever I travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfing in the US, Canada, South America, Asia, and Europe. All top notch experiences. Host on occasion.

Interests

Traveling, dancing, and finding ways to make a difference in the world, whilst learning about myself (It seems this will never end). I could spend a lifetime exploring the world and still want more.

I spent a year living in Japan to learn Aikido. I participated in the Kenshusei program under Jacques Payet Sensei. It pushed me past my mental and physical limits. I managed to finish the course and earned my blackbelt.

My current passion is dancing. I spent a month in Cali, Colombia, the Salsa capital of the world. I took casino classes while living in Spain, salsa in Japan, bachata and salsa in Denver, Then salsa on 2 in Boston, Casino and Afro-Cuban dance in Cuba. I am a pray of a few teams, and teach Cuban dance locally.

I appreciate genuine and authentic people, and admire people who live without fear and pursue their dreams in life.
