ABOUT ME

Currently 29-year-old language scientist and (wishful thinking-)vagabond, born & bred at the coast of the Baltic sea. I have a strong interest in the people I meet, sustainable life style, art, architecture, books, and, since it's part of my work, theoretical and applied international relations.

Sthlm is my home in Sweden (after having tried Gothenburg & Malmö, too) where I am working as a translator, seeing my friends a lot; cycling, cooking, going out, painting, planning vacations and baking cakes with my friends kids.

I spend most of my free time travelling with friends or visiting friends around the world. On journeys, I always hope to take part in some local every-day-life rather than partying and seeing historical sites only.

I have no couch to offer right now, but I can always show Monteliusvägen to anyone visiting my town!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Almost all of my travelling has been couch surfing. I hardly how to book a hotel room or what I should do in a foreign country without knowing someone there. Most of my hosts so far have been people I know, but with new destinations I hope to meet new people.

Intereses

Music (festivals, concerts, vinyl...anything), art, (international) politics, the subway, sewing, rowing, cycling as a mean of transport, morning newspapers, languages. Recent interest: programming!
