Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Looking for some help finding a place to crash when I visit my sister in California, but also am open to meeting new people and perhaps hosting.
ABOUT ME
I'm a natural born thrill-seeker. I want to try everything at least once. This has gotten me in trouble in the past, of course, but hey - that's life!
I live to fly. As far back as I can remember I have wanted nothing more than to fly airplanes. I spend countless hours playing flight simulators and have invested a lot of money in joysticks and similar equipment. Flying is simply a thrill that can not be replicated, and it's a skill that requires a very specific interest and discipline.
I'm a very easy-going, laid-back kind of person. I try my best to get along with everyone I meet, even if I don't particularly agree with their beliefs. I am not a "person of faith", but such qualities of others do not bother me in the slightest; some of my best friends are very religious.
PHILOSOPHY
There is no reason we can't all get along.
There is no reason we can't share.
It's okay to disagree.
Violence is never an option.
It's up to each their own to discover the meaning of their own life.

Música, películas y libros
I love the Daily Show, I like to watch stand-up comedy, I like great movies, but I am not a fan of regular old TV. I just can't stand TV commercials sometimes. I don't like the TV just being on in the background.
I like books about people's lives, be they autobiographical in nature or otherwise. I think this type of reading allows one to understand the difference in perspective the human race has been cast to play out.
I also like reading books that convey the humanity of any type of intense experience, be it war or otherwise. "Voices of Stalingrad" was one of the most interesting books I've read.
I'm also an avid George Carlin fan. I wish he were still around, I never would have thought he'd kick it before Chuck Yeager (1st to break the sound barrier).
As far as music, I enjoy mainly rock, some electronica, and sometimes find myself enjoying music I myself am surprised to enjoy. I have no appreciation whatsoever for rap, hip-hop, R&B, jazz, or trendy MTV-esque tunes from the likes of Bieber and his less popular equivalents of either gender.
Algo increíble que he hecho
The all-natural sound of air screaming past your ears in an all-out free fall, so loud that it is deafening, is something that must be heard. It is part of the whole amazing experience of skydiving. This sound is so loud that instructors communicate with the trainee with hand signals.
The violence of the chute opening is unexpected. It really jerks your entire body around for a moment. Things are suddenly silent. It is such a marked contrast. You are now hanging from a giant silky canopy that will gracefully place you peacefully back on the surface (assuming you paid attention to the instructions on the ground.)
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I like this concept. It reminds me of the movie "Accepted".
As I'm sure you're already aware, aviation. Anything you want to know about how airplanes work and fly, the laws and rules, etc., ask away.
I'm also "the computer guy". People call me for computer help a lot so if you're having technical issues, I can probably help or at least tell you what needs to be done.
