About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to laugh, enjoy, share, feel and embrace each moment...oh yeah and check everything off on my to do list!

ABOUT ME

I'm constantly reinventing myself and yet keeping the core values the same. Life is so fluid that I don't want to stay constant. I want to just be...and being is so full of beautiful options. I want to live with the freedom to make daily choices, change my mind, make mistakes and learn as much as I can. I spent the last 3 years, traveling to parts all over this world. I traversed lands that halted my step, breathed into my soul and gave me peace. I lived in the incredible landscapes of Guatemala, my Central American home. The valuable lessons in my life only bring me to this: I'm a fallible creature and I'm not afraid. I'm excited by life. I'm thrilled to be a part of this world and meet the incredible people along my journey. My journey is without a roadmap only a sense of direction. All I can say is "Life is sooooo good!"

for description sake, here are some words that describe me: independent, adventurous, spontaneous, uninhibited, passionate, fiesty, funky, healthy, loyal, introspective, inquisitive, determined, energetic, athletic, bold, hard-working, free willed, strong, reliable, decisive, positive and a total goof. LA girl, born and raised, but I'm not a Hollywood type just appreciate the LA lifestyle between glamour and flip flops! I VALUE: my family, friends, people who make a difference in my life, respect, freedom, love, passion, choice, truth, integrity, internal spirit, life, laughing, helping people, following dreams...

Some other useful info:
- I'm always up for an adventure.
- I'm super friendly and laid back.
- I love to entertain but I'm not a big partier and I won't bring the party home.
- I'm a minimalist but still defining the word.
- I'm full of fun stories
- I travel every chance I get.
- I'm very tidy and clean! (I definitely take good care of other people's things)
- I don't smoke, occasionally drink, love to dance
- I love dogs and hang with cats!!

I think that scratches the surface...

PHILOSOPHY

The world is amazing, I hope to get to know it well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Update: I'm now an active host, traveler and always up for a gathering, a bit of fun in any city and tons of laughs with new friends!

I'm just getting started but I imagine I'll be an active member given my passion for people, traveling and education

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Update: I've changed sheets for travelers coming through Guate...had tons of food, coffee, and beer with couchsurfers, climbed hills and danced in various settings till my feet groaned in pain...slept on many a mattresses, pillows, floors...and fallen in love with the CS community over and over again!

I'm currently staying on Jeff's couch here in Hong Kong. He's a good friend of mine from Uni and he's got a really nice couch! lol. I'm looking forward to hanging with other new friends on their couches. We actually heard about CouchSurfing at a birthday party where there was a guy staying on the couch of another guy at the party. It sounded great!
