About Me

CURRENT MISSION

STOP! BREATHE! ENJOY THE MOMENT!

ABOUT ME

I hope that they would say that I am a good friend, that they can trust me and discuss serious matters with me as weel as relax, party, enjoy life. I really, really hope that thay would say that cause being a good friend means a lot to me...
When making fun of me my best friends call me "the boss" - I am still trying to decide whether this is good or bad (but most probably it's a bit of both).
My mum says I am stubborn, to serious sometimes and that I am so full of plans and ideas that she can't keep up whit me. Oh, and according to her I am always making too much noise (when walking, cooking, typing etc.) Plus she can't understand why I don't like to wear slippers (in Slovenia it is a custom to wear slippers in the house - even guest get a pair) and prefer walking round the house barefoot.

PHILOSOPHY

Well, here I am, I don't know how and why but I'll try hard to make the most out of it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf other's people couches when I travel and I try to host people or at least meet them for a drink when I'm back at home :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far so great! Awesome way to get to know people and their culture. I've made some new friends through couchsurfing that I'm still in contact with.

Interests

I enjoy "normal", simple things, I guess I'm not that different from anybody else....So, in my free time I enjoy travelling (obviously), watching movies and TV series (I'm addicted to it actually), reading books, trying different sports (but somehow I never stick to one, strange), meeting new people, trying new food (but I don't like cooking it), just hanging out in a cafe with some friends, talking and watching people passing by, I love mountain hiking (but I haven't done that in a while), I would love to learn more foreign languages (Spanish, Portuguese) and I took some Swing dancing classes and I love to participate in swing dance evenings.
The biggest thing going on in my life right now is Humanitarian medical expedition to Malavi, Africa that I'm participating in. I'm moving there for 4 months to do some voluntary work in Patients and Orphans program.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies like: The Godfather trilogy, Quentin Tarantino's movies, Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Fight Club, Into the Wild, City of God, The Matrix, The Silence of the Lambs, Hotel Rwanda, No Country for Old Man, Lord of the Rings,
Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Mar adentro, Diarios de Motocicleta, Amelie,
TV series: True Blood, Boardwalk Empire, Mad Men, Dexter, Game of thrones, How I met your mother...
Music - depends on the mood I'm in...
Books: don't know where to start. Last few books I read were A song of Ice and Fire series and The Road by Cormac McCarthy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2010 I hitchhiked part of my trip round Scotland with my friend Barbara. And we caught a ride with funny guy who was transporting fish at the back of the van. As there was no space for our backpacks in the cabin we put them at the back with the fish. So you can imagine how our backpacks and everything in them (including all our clothes) smelled after that! Mmmmm
Few years ago I took skydaving lessons and I loved it! The adrenalin rush that flows through your body and the feeling of freedom when you're up there all alone looking at the world far down below you - you have to try it!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
