My travel bug started while i was working on an American submarine in Hawaii. I visited a few countries in Asia for work and fell in love with experiencing new cultures. I lived in Hawaii for 4 years and have seen a million cool places on the island. I've been skydiving five times and I have a not-so-secret passion for scuba diving. I love to go hiking for those breathtaking views that will be remembered for a lifetime. I was originally only a host on couchsurfing to meet cool people in the hope that, when I travel, I can see some familiar faces. I’ve now begun my travels and it has surely paid off. My top three next travel destinations are India, Antarctica, and Peru. I cannot wait to meet more future friends and see where life takes me!

How I participate in Couchsurfing?

I have hosted several people while I was living in Hawaii. We shared a million laughs and I've made some unforgettable friends.

I now hope to meet new people as I, myself, take to traveling the world and seeing all of the beauty she has to offer.

I taught primary school in the Eastern African country of Malawi. The children I met were amazing and I will never forget them. I hope that I had as big of an impact on their lives as they did on mine. I may have been teaching in the classroom, but they were giving me lessons on life and appreciation.

I can cook pretty good food and pronounce things with my Minnesota accent that will probably make you laugh at me. Also a clean person.
