About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To contribute and give back to the couch surfing community that has lent a hand to me many times

ABOUT ME

I plan on travelling again but for the time being I am settled in one of the most beautiful places in California.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep in mind at all times what makes people happy:
Family, Friends, Relationships and leisure time.

The ones who are afraid to live are the ones afraid to die.

Appreciation is the highest form of love .

Drop all pre-conceived notions of discomfort. (That is actually a H.D. Thereau quote)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never felt that I have had an adequate hosting situation for surfers. Now that I am surfing I realize that at some point almost anywhere on couchsurfing.org is better than sleeping alone in uncharted territory.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had many friends that have hosted and surfed. Although this is my first time surfing, I feel that I have participated in many acts of hosting throughout the years, whether it be picking up hitch hikers or sharing local knowledge among visitors.

Interests

I am interested in ecology and sociology. I like to learn about specific habitats. I enjoy learning about techniques to heal the earth through ecological restoration. I strive to spend most of my time doing what I enjoy. I enjoy surfing, skateboarding, drinking a few beers with old friends, learning new songs on my guitar, backpacking, seeking the wilderness to clear my head. During my cross country trip I anticipate meeting all those people I never would have if I stayed home. I plan on bringing my skateboard, my journal and a good attitude.
