Overview
About Me
24 year old Canadian male. Recently graduated from university with my Kinesiology degree (the study of the human body and movement). I am an extroverted and outgoing individual, along with being very friendly and understanding.
I love the outdoors, exploration, international cuisine, and learning about different cultures. I love animals, and have two cats myself - but can’t wait to get my first dog.
After graduating, I decided I wanted to travel to Europe once again to experience more of the beautiful cultures, foods, and outdoors that the countries offer. This time, I will be solo travelling which will take me very out of my comfort zone, but I’m hoping it will be well worth it.
When my time comes to begin working in my field, I plan to do strength and condition for professional sports such as American football, soccer, snowboarding, and weightlifting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it is a great way to see how people in different countries or continents live compared to Canada, where I call home. Staying in hostels can only give a certain experience, and it would be exciting to truly live, eat and sleep like a local of the city and country I’m visiting.
Having the opportunity to see some secret spots that only locals know about sounds amazing too, especially if they involve seeing or swimming in waterfalls.
I would like to build friendships throughout the world that we can stay in touch with. I made several during my last trip to Europe, and I look forward to meeting more during this trip!
Interests
As I'm studying kinesiology, I love human movement and how the body works. I love the outdoors (especially kayaking, canoeing, and swimming), I think I got that from being a boy scout for 10 years. I love eating and cooking, and would love to learn the different cooking methods by people around the world, and I thoroughly enjoy sports, pretty much anything but golf (sorry!).

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of electronic, hip hop, and various forms of rock music. I’m open to pretty much anything!
I don’t watch TOO much television/movies, but I do enjoy Marvel movies, action movies, SOME horror movies, and suspenseful ones.
My favourite book is A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway. I find the love story very touching and deep, and the way Ernest writes is always enticing to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One thing I will always consider amazing is being able to help others realize their potential in life through movement. I love what I do, and bringing people from points of debilitating pain for years to living without pain is pretty amazing to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
Would be more than happy to discuss anything about the human body. From general sciences to the the highly specific sciences, I always have something to learn.
I would like to learn about new cultures, languages, foods, and daily practices and how they differ between areas. Also, learning how to drive manual wouldn’t hurt (I’m fully licensed in Canada).
I would love to share about both yours and my travel experiences, locations, and what activities make you happy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
