I am a tree planter from Canada, with an undergraduate degree in International Development from the University of Guelph. Now, in between my 4 months of work over the summer, I have time to travel and experience life outside of teh classroom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

to meet local people, wherever I travel! My time in Europe and elsewhere has been fantastic, and I meet lots of people, but Couch Surfing gives me the opportunity to meet locals and get a true perspective of the city that I am visiting. And its cheaper than staying at hostels, which is very nice haha

Interests

I love to travel, and meet new people. Experiencing new cultures and food has to be my 2 favourite things. I love my job, I think about it all the time when I am off, But I have to say that I have not really found my true passion yet in life. But im looking in as many places as possible to help me find it out!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of hip/hop and rap music, Love me some Logic and G-Eazy. I am a fan of almost all movies except horror, but I have sat through a few of them in my time. Not a huge reader, but I always take recommendations from my mama, she knows the kinds of books that will keep me intrigued

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled through India for four months on a semester abroad program through my school. I think that that trip really pushed my limits, and has given me the love of putting myself in new scenarios. I feel like I have experienced so much after India, that I would have never pushed myself to do previously.

Always looking to learn something new! And I can teach through my tough experiences through my planting days, and the multiple long trips I have been on so far in my life.

My travel experiences and all the questions they want answered about Canada! I love my country, and the more I travel around the world, the more I appreciate what I have back at home. Not to put down any country I have been to, I do really love every country that I have travelled to and what each place has to offer.
