About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To do cool ish.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old male. I study Biotechnology at BYU-I. I love to be active, and am always eager to try new things. I have a real interest in Central and South American cultures. I hope to enter the field of genetics research someday.

PHILOSOPHY

"Don't just talk about it, BE about it."

I've learned that if you take the time to look past stereotypes and actually talk to people, you find out there is much more to people than meets the eye, and that although cultural differences exist, at the end of the day, we're all just people, with worries, hopes and dreams. That we all share similar life-moments of happiness, sadness, anger, or frustration.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My family has played host to a few baseball teams in the past, who needed a place to stay during their tournament. I'm on here to try and see the world on a college budget, and meet new people/gain life experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as of yet, but I'm looking to get out there and get my feet wet and see the world!

Interests

My passion is Brazilian Jiujitsu/wrestling, working out, rock climbing, and skydiving, but I love anything involving the outdoors or being physically active.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to indie rock or folk type bands. I also like dubstep/electro type music, but I can bob my head to almost any kind of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving! Single greatest experience of my life to date. I went to Florida with my parents for my 21st weekend, I don't drink, so I wanted to do something adventurous in lieu of the typical "21 shots" type thing. So we jumped from a plane within sight of the NASA shuttle launch pad, right by the ocean. I fell for a full minute and a half of free-fall. Pure bliss.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some self defense moves, cook a meal, share some music. Ask nicely and I am open to helping out with just about anything :)
