Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly by repeatedly forgetting about couchsurfing, and then remembering that it exists and going "oh yeah, I should get more into couchsurfing"

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has allowed me to meet so many amazing people that I have shared some incredible experiences with. Whether it be eating an amazing breakfast in Portland, cooking stuffed paprikas in Budapest, stumbling on an amazing Mexican food stand in East Harlem, NYC or going for a walk along the seawall in Vancouver. I have been able to do these things while having great conversations with amazing people I have met because of couchsurfing.

Interests

I am fascinated by people, their experiences and just being able to have fun and interesting interactions with them. I enjoy sports, music, reading, nature, architecture and adventure. I am open to having many new experiences and want to see as much as much as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

In terms of movies, I am not too picky, but anything with action is always good. I have quite an eclectic taste in music, liking pretty much everything but heavy metal. When it comes to reading, I read exclusively non fiction works.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Randomly getting off public bus somewhere in Lapaz and ending up at a party with a whole bunch of locals whom I danced and drank with for hours even though I didn't speak a word of Quechua and they didn't speak a word of english, hiking to the top of a mountain where I camped for the night before waking to see the sun rising over the black sea in Ukraine, spending a sun filled afternoon eating octopus and sharing stories with some locals in a tiny village on Samos in Greece, swimming with sea turtles of the coast of Antalya in Turkey, listening to some of the best piano music I have ever heard in a candle lit bar in New Orleans...oh wait you said one thing didn't you...
