PHILOSOPHY

To learn as much as we can and always grow and improve, be the best that we can, and help out and relate to others always.

Carpe Diem, live a balanced lifestyle, and those who fail to plan plan to fail. My mottos.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For me, Couch Surfing is much more than just a free way to travel-it's all about meeting people to both learn and makes the experience that much happier. I immediately try to get to know my host and relate to them, and I do whatever I can to make it easier on them, afterall they're doing me the favor of hosting me. There are some things that we can all relate to, and just by being a couch surfer I think there's a lot to relate to. I am super duper curious, and I love to take in the sites and try new experiences, walking around and exploring the city as much as possible. Best of all I like to have a friend after my experience.

Right now as I am trying to travel and see as much as possible, I am not hosting. But..I plan to reciprocate after study abroad and I am home, because this is truly an amazing thing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in Tarifa with an awesome host! Couch surfed in Malaga with another awesome host, and a great social dinner with all her friends!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to the beach in Oslo in November with humid and windy air, wearing my first scarf ever. Also saw Thor the movie in Oslo.

Stayed with a host family in Morocco and ate couscous with my hands.

Jumped off the rocks at Salobrena Beach, one of which was 65 feet tall

Road a snow mobile up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains across a pass

Heard the call to prayer in the Moroccan mountains

Swam in the break of the ocean between the Mediterranean and Atlantic

Teach, Learn, Share

Live in the moment, embrace everything as a learning experience no matter if good or bad. Be as nice as you can, be as energetic and alive as you can, and be true to yourself.

Don't be afraid to push yourself and learn from others, either though. But never let the pressure of what most people do prevent you from doing what is right for you.

Always smile and always learn. Treat others with respect and kindness and you will never go wrong.
