ABOUT ME

i grew up in michigan, and did my undergrad in southern california. as of fall 2014 i'll be a grad student in the math department at university of texas, austin.

i like vegan baked goods, cheap whiskey, bicycles, wilderness backpacking, bulky sweaters, good music, and bad music. in my spare time i play saxophone and cook. dogs good, cats better, capybaras best.

somewhat introverted, but i do like meeting the right people in the right context! so far i've had good luck with this on couchsurfing. :)

surfed and hosted a few times while studying in budapest. haven't since getting back to the united states, but i hope to again at some point.
