About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world, share my music, and meet as many people as possible
ABOUT ME
Im in love with the unknown and try to make an adventure out of everything I do outside. I graduated from UCSB with a sociology BA and music AA. I have been in three bands of varying styles, but as of recent I have been playing solo shows with my guitar and a loop pedal for fun (singer-songwriter stuff). I also taught English pronunciation and American Culture in two cities in China for 4 months. I love meeting new people, laughing, and sharing stories about anything and everything.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to hold happiness above all else, if it makes you happy then you should pursue it. And then keep doing it...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since I have been back from New Zealand, I have been "paying it forward" and hosting Couchsurfers when I have free time. So far it has been a educational and fun experience. What a great site!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met some amazing people couchsurfing. This entire organization is proof that there are still hundreds of thousands of trustworthy and extremely kind people out there in the world. They are everywhere, you just need to get yourself out there and the rest will unravel itself.
Interests
I am an avid photographer, musician, and strong cohort to adventurous scenarios (ala. I get a lot of my friends off their booty's to get up and outside and have a good time.) I also write off and on for a local magazine usually about culture, music, community, and I am the head of the expressions section (short stories & poetry.)
I currently have a website for my writing/music/photography/travel blog.
Cheers and Thank you for considering me to share some music and a potential sleep spot in your area!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2. We had been climbing Mount Tai Shan since 2 AM… Nothing but steps, innumerable and vast. It was one of the five great holy mountains of China. The ideal was to get to top to watch the sunrise over the land below. That was the expectation anyway. The top was blanketed with thick mist; the sky would occasionally gaze down from aberrations in the clouds. But there was no sunrise. The moon hung over a blue backdrop and then disappeared into the gray wind that consumed it. At ease, I breathed deeply, that day I slept for 20 hours straight.
1. The guy strapped to my back let go of the plane we went into a surreal free-fall. We flipped away from the door and gravity took its course. We were fighting the air around us. Our cheeks flapped like a baby in front of a fan. And to think my life just flashed before my eyes. Right now I could think of nothing. Adrenaline had encompassed my every sense. The ocean never looked so big. The ground below, void of detail, began to sketch itself it’s intricacies. We splashed through a cloud and ferociously screamed, leaving a sound trail behind us. Time stood still at that moment. We were living THE dream, flight.
