About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To work less and see more.
ABOUT ME
I've been holed up a bit in my hometown in Canada for a while - looking to do more travelling! I'm into doing things myself, learning new skills, cooking, nature, travelling (obviously), doing yoga, and lately, some funky acrobatics.
I love music: making or listening.
When I eventually start a career, I would like to be a midwife.
I love just sitting and chatting, which is what I think will be the best part about couchsurfing. My ideal host or surfer would be someone who would (as long as they have the time) like to hang out and share their insights with me.
PHILOSOPHY
I aspire to see and do as much as I can, and to leave the world a better place than it was when I got here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met up with some cool CSers in London and surfed in Dublin, Ireland, as well as in Montreal and Halifax back home in Canada. I hope to host in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to listen to every type of music. Favourites include 90s rock, folk, experimental, political punk, metal, and anything rad that I can dance to. I rock soundtracks on the regular.
I also enjoy any type of film and I love to read. Better yet, I'd love if you introduced me to your favourites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once ended up in the interior of a fjord, in the Westfjords of Iceland. I got out and the air was so still, and the stars were so bright. Sitting in that isolation, feeling the silence and knowing that no one else was around was exhilarating - I sang louder that night than I've ever sung, and it came back to me in a mountainous echoing chorus!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a native English speaker and used to be fluent in French. Lack of practice has dulled my skills but I am sure that I can help with most things. Also, if you want to learn some extremely basic Icelandic, I may be your girl. I'm also not a bad cook.
