Overview
About Me
I am a friendly, outgoing and positive person who is always up for an adventure. I love travelling, and have had some of the best experiences whilst couch surfing. I love meeting new people and couch surfing is a great way to do that! I currently live in Newcastle and study medicine at the university there. I will be travelling to Saint Vincent for 8 weeks for my medical elective and moving on to Cuba for 8 days after that. Very excited about the trip!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have stayed with a few people from here whilst on my gap year and had a fantastic time. Im currently still a poor student in shared accommodation but when I finally get my own place then I will be more than happy to offer up my couch to couch surfers visiting my area! :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have stayed with a couple in Sydney - it was a great experience, I was made to feel very welcome and it was such a great way to experience the city with the guidance of someone who lives there! I have also stayed with people in San Francisco and really enjoyed the chance to spend time with locals who knew a lot about the area.
Interests
- Travelling!
- Reading - nothing better than getting lost in a good book
- Hiking, running, bouldering/ climbing, squash, exploring
- Sewing & knitting, and arts and crafts in general!
- I've played the violing since I was 7 but don't get the chance to pick it up much any more.
Could list more but the details aren't important! I reckon best way to sum it up would be that I love staying active, learning new things and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love such a wide range of music it would be impossible to list here, but in general I like indie, reggae, RnB, hip hop, alternative, etc. Pretty much a bit of everything to be honest!
Books are great, where do I start? I recently read Engleby and loved it. I like thrillers, mysteries, and most other fiction really.
I used to be such a film buff but I don't seem to find the time any more! I manage to squeeze TV shows in occasionally and particularly liked breaking bad, orange is the new black, the knick and archer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed in Kenya for a month which was such an experience, and seeing the view of Hong Kong from Victoria Peak at night was truly amazing :) something that I have achieved and is amazing for me personally is obtaining grade 8 in the violin! It was a lot of hard work and I'm amazed I managed to push myself to do it.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you have a violin lying about I can teach you that!... nah, but I can teach you to whistle through your fingers, moonwalk and to read music. As you can tell I am a wealth of knowledge... haha. If you want to learn maths or science I can teach that!
