Hello, I'm new to Couchsurfing and wanted to try it out for my time in Amsterdam. in the next coming week. I have traveled a lot around Europe in the last four years, but have mostly stayed in hostels, with friends or Airbnbs. I am currently living in Paris, France and have completed my first short film out of film school. My friend Hannah and I will be traveling from Paris to London, then Edinburgh to Amsterdam then back home to Paris.

I wanted to try a new experience and I don't know anyone in Amsterdam, so I thing its the perfect opportunity to meet new friends, and explore the city through the eyes of a local.

I love traveling and the experiences that come along with traveling. I also love watching films, making films, and analyzing films. Filmmaking is what I do, so I love talking with others about this process. I love eating food, I will try almost anything at least once.

I have just wrapped production on the short film I wrote. I was the cinematographer on the film, working with a close friend who directed it. We worked with a crew of about 20 over the course of two weekends the past two weeks.

I can share my stories. Part of being a filmmaker is telling and listening to others' stories and learning from peoples experiences, loves and hates, and mistakes.
