About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding non cannibals to let me sleep in their homes. I love to travel and am finally back in the states after being away for the last 4 years. I am itching to travel again and want to take weekend trips, meet new people, and explore the beauty of my own country. Need to keep myself busy before I'm off to my next adventure in a new country.
ABOUT ME
My name is Alex- originally from California but living in Portland. I love being able to travel around and couch surf and share great times, meals, and couches. SO much to see so little time! Good times promised! I can cook a great pasta and clean up and be tidy and probably even crack some jokes. I love meeting new people- I even made it my career as I now work in hotels. I am easy going and bubbly so I love to see new things and share experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
"France is always a good idea"
"Don't talk to strangers, unless you want to meet anyone, ever."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am friendly and easy going. You wont even know I am there (I wont cause any problems).... Except I am also fun to be with so in that regard, I will be your new best friend! I am good at cleaning too. I like to have fun (who doesn't) and I love meeting new people (probably mentioned that).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Vive the couchsurfing!!! This is THE ideal way to travel. It is such a great idea, opportunity and community. I'm all about saving money to be able to better explore the city you're in, and to have the chance to meet and interact with locals is what it is all about. I've couchsurfed in Amsterdam, Rome, Florence, Paris, Biarritz, Stockholm and Berlin. I am in contact with each of my guests and am so happy to have had the chance to meet them. Can't wait for my next adventures!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved to Dubai on the spur of the moment. Met the most amazing people and experienced a city truly unlike any other in the world. Also did a similar thing when I moved to Switzerland to study hospitality- I guess you could say I'm pretty spontaneous
