ABOUT ME

I am a respectful individual and, although a little shy at first, I do my best to let the love in my heart for all beings to shine forth. I'm pretty much always down to lend a hand if one is needed, and love to meet all types of people in all types of places.

I enjoy looking at life from a magical perspective. From the animals/people we encounter on our paths, to the stories that we, as collective consciousness incarnate in individual form, tell ourselves through our forms of popular media. I am always in my most blissful state when bathing in the warm sunshine and laying in the bosom of our Earth mother, listening to her singing through the birds, wind, thunder and/or any of her other manifestations... especially us hu-mans. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a small, 2 bedroom farmhouse out in the country, so I can potentially accept surfers. I hope to do some more surfing myself, also. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have helped to host a few different surfers at Coffee Creek Community and Gardens in Centralia, WA and have nothing but good experiences with great people! I have also surfed once in Tampa, Florida and made good friends with my host there. I look forward to surfing more and meeting more awesome peoples! Yay humans!

Intereses

I guess it really boils down to this: I love to learn and seek personal evolution. Whether that be through media (books, audio lectures, visual presentations, etc), other people or personal experiences, I really dig it all. I also love to help people. It makes my heart smile.
Esoteric subjects such as symbolism, Jungian psychology, the nature of reality, the living Universe, and magick (both ancient and modern) REALLY pique my interest. I also love puzzles and games. In short - I am a nerd.

All night tipi medicine ceremonies in the rain forest of Puerto Rico.

Whenever in PR, I also stay with an amazing wizard/artist in the western mountains of the island. There, he has built an amazing home (including a small tunnel system under his home) and invented several musical instruments. Some nights, we would go down to the tunnels with all the instruments we could carry and play music in the dark echo-chambers.

Both of these experiences create a primal, altered state of tribal-consciousness and has fulfilled needs in myself that I didn't even know existed.

I'm really into modern magic and the application of 'magical consciousness' into everyday reality, whether that be as simple as looking at the world with an open mind in a state of wonder, or a complex as crafting a ritual to alter our psyches, and therefore the very fabric of our personal realities.
