About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My first international tour as a one-man-band. Playing the streets, houseparties, legit venues, anywhere I can.

ABOUT ME

I can have a conversation with anyone, but I also enjoy being by myself. I need a healthy balance of city & country in my life. I'm obsessed with music and can't stop playing or listening to it (I play over 20 instruments and up to 5 at once - I'm working on 6!). I love reading and bicycling.

I've been consistently described as a "nice guy". I can't wait to finish last.

PHILOSOPHY

It feels great to be kind, it feels bad to be mean. I have the strong opinion that other people's opinions matter just as much as my own when it comes to anything other than my own life choices.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this, so I have yet to do anything to participate, but I love this idea!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've crashed with a Couch Surfing member who just happens to be a friend. He let me sleep on his couch for 3 months! Of course, I've also done plenty of "one night stands" on the couches of friends whenever & wherever I travel. I think sleeping on different surfaces every night is beneficial to back health.

Music, Movies, and Books

I see movies so rarely. I'm definitely a Coen Brothers fan.
I have a voracious appetite for books. I love contemporary funny fiction (Confederacy of Dunces, anything by Daniel Handler) and I've gotten much joy from classics like Thomas Hardy and Victor Hugo. Non-fiction is a new interest for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am afraid of heights, and yet I rappelled a 35 meter waterfall. I'm proud to say I stepped up to the challenge (and survived!).

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, China, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Peru, Spain, United States, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In
