ABOUT US
This profile is now for two, my wife - Anne - and I.
Once upon a time we were ... ''right up the North West end of the Coromandel Peninsula, a little 'town' called Colville, half an hour north of Coromandel. I have a little boat and I spend lots of my time sailing it. The rest of the time I'm fishing, gathering shellfish, bottling fruit, writing and drawing, chopping wood ... and doing country things. you'd be welcome to join me for a few days.''
We lived also in Aix en Provence, Montpellier , Strasbourg , Metz , Lyon, Wellington, Auckland , Montreal, la Reunion, Prague, London , Brighton... Separately or together...
PHILOSOPHY
Remain as present and open as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Plans for 2016:
We will be returning to our collective farm in Coromandel, New Zealand. There's a spare housetruck with two beds and lots to see and do! Wood fires, fruits trees, fishing etc. The woolshed had been converted into a music club with lots of gear and is popular with the locals.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had someone come bivouac/boat "surfing" with me for a week a few years back. We sailed around the Bay of Islands, sleeping on the beach and exploring. I couchsurfed in Hawai'i and the Southern states on my last trip overseas. It was great!
