COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once stayed at a house of a member of a forum that I used to go on,I need a bed for the night, as a band were playing in his same town...he put me up,gave me breakfast, and took me to the station...lovely bloke..

Have had a wonderful time sharing homes/flats and couches..have met some amazing people.

On my travels I have met some great Couchsurfers, with lots of tales to tell!!

Interests

music (I love going to see new bands..I ive in a very music area, and local pub/club bands are fantastic..always looking out for new stuff to see).

Theatre. I am a theatre review/blogger with a passion for most things live.

Travelling (I love just jumping on a plane, bus..and finding my way around

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the wonderful (join-me folk) are very kind and friendly...I once had a spare ticket for a gig in London,I asked anybody if they wanted a free ticket..one girl said she did, we met up, and had a nice day out together...she said she couldn't go, but gave me the money for the ticket anyway..but asked me to do some things in return...(1) give the ticket to somebody who really wanted to go..and (2) do something constructive with the money....so I set out to do both

(1) came easy..there was a bloke who was saying good things about the band, and he wished he had a ticket, he last saw them 10 years ago...so I gave the ticket to him(I saw the same bloke at a convention for the smae band,a few months later..so was worth it

(2) with the ticket money I went to a bakers and got loads of pies, sandwiches, and fed the homeless at the local Tube station..

I have just come back from doing a 23 day trek to Base Camp Everest, I camped on the ice flow for two nights, an amazing experience. I might just do similar again!
