I am living on the East Coast but dreaming of the West Coast. I'm a speech-language pathologist and annoyingly obsessed with how and why people communicate. I'll try not to analyze you. Try. I'm staring 30 in the face and not minding being old enough to get shit done but young enough to still want to squeeze in some dancing and a couple of drinks on the nights that I don't have a self-imposed 9:30pm bedtime. Things I value: kindness, humor, compassion, spicy food, fiction, being barefoot in the grass.

I love being in a place I've never been before. I like to play my autoharp. I like part sing...I'd say that I can harmonize with 60% accuracy :) I'll whisper babies and animals without meaning to and I can drink a beer on the beach like nobodies business.

I am a fan of Tom Robbins and Kurt Vonnegut. Since I work at an elementary school, I find myself reading a lot of children's books. I'm not that mad about it. Artemis Fowl kind of rocks.
