ABOUT ME

I am working on becoming a yoga instructor so I can help others discover all the amazing things yoga can bring into your life. I have done some international traveling thus far but have hopes of doing much more in the not too distant future. Eventually I'd like to do some form of holistic healing, but at the moment I'm just trying to figure out what comes next and enjoying the ride.

PHILOSOPHY

Sometimes it takes a difficult experience to truly grow and gain new knowledge. Love can conquer all if you give it a change. And never ever let the perfect oppertunity pass you by because you thought it might be too hard

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I finally have a big comfy couch to call my own and open up to the world. I work pretty much full time so during the week my schedule is pretty much full but weekends are open for having people come and stay or quick trips to stay on other couches

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had people staying on my couch for years both long time friends and brand new ones. I've also slept on more couches/floors than I could begin to count. Any experience I've had through this website has been exactly what I needed it to be.

Interests

Yoga, burning man, acro yoga, arial dance, snowboarding, rock climbing, juggling, poi, playing the violin, nature, adventures, music, living life to the fullest, meeting new people, unlocking the secrets of the universe.

Music - the string cheese incident, grateful dead, beats antique, bluegrass music in general, rena jones, emancipator, soundtribe, paul simon, talking heads, the list goes on indefinitely...
I've been thouroughly enjoying the wonderful works of Tom Robbins and Hunter S Thompson.
As far as movies I love Stardust, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Almost Famous, Waking Life

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been blessed with a life in which I have seen countless amazing things, one that immediately comes to mind is getting to hold a tiger in a temple in thailand...it was my first day there and before I knew it I'd taken a 3 hour bus ride to a temple out in the jungle and was sitting on a ground while a monk laid a tigers head in my lap...amazing!

wow, I don't even know what to put here, I guess that from my experiences the most important thing to do is to find what makes you happy and pursue it to the fullest as long as it doesn't hurt anyone or anything else along the way
