CURRENT MISSION
Measure Travel Inwards
ABOUT ME
Fever Nomadic Wander Woman. Lunar lunatic.
Travel is one of the greatest teachers and an extremely important and essential part of my life. It is impossible to count the treasures of experiences that have blossomed in my life due to travel.
Like most women, I have a wealth of passions. I am a professional bellydancer and I have danced all of my life - from ballet/contemporary companies in my teens/early 20s to bellydance, which is my most suited fit. I am obsessively passionate about photography and documentation. I am always with my camera and notebook. I feel best when I am in nature and exploring barefooted.
PHILOSOPHY
Measure travel inwards.

Music, Movies, and Books
Reading is a constant that I need in my life to feel a stability. I am, and always have been, very passionate about books. My interests are plenty, so I read a lot of both fiction and non-fiction. I'm sure we could talk endlessly about books and literatue.
Music: I mostly listen to Middle Eastern music and anything that can fall even loosely under bellydance approriate music. Our dance troupe is very active, so I am constantly listening to learn new music. I adore all styles of Middle Eastern music. It is what I always instinctively put on first. I also love Folk and the Singer/Songwriter genre, and I have a delirious love for darkly romantic vaudeville circus music.
Movies: This is where I can not say. I have never seen anything, and likely never will and I could hardly care less. I am, however, an action film heroine...like, dur.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Breathing under water in Honduras.
Watching the sunset from a camel in the Sahara.
Flew on a carpet down a Saharan dune.
Stood under the moon on the deck of a ship at midnight in the Aegean Sea.
Became a speck on a canvas in the vast shrines of Japan.
Studied Legong dance in Bali, then went to a Legong/Gamelan performance at Ubud Palace and stood with tear filled saucer eyes throughout its entirety.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have literally talked myself hoarse discussing books and travel. We can share opinions and stories. I adore photography and have been doing it for over 10 years. I might just jam my camera in your face and demand to use you as a subject. Warning: I am always carrying at least one camera. I have been dancing since I was 3 years old; I've danced in ballet, modern, and bellydance companies. It is an intrinsic part of my life. Our bodies are amazing things. You can do yoga with me in the mornings or just point and laugh at me while I twirl in the kitchen.
