Beige:
- I currently live on a sheep farm in South-Eastern Ontario. I have experience moving the sheep from barnyard to pasture, administering needles, tagging the lambs ears, and using safe work practices while working near farm hazards (eg. the ram, tractors)
- I have many years of experience working as a Nature Educator; I really enjoy working with kids and find that I can find common ground with them fairly quickly.
- I have a background in Ecological Restoration, and currently work at a native plant nursery. I have been involved with planning and executing a couple of land restoration projects and am excited about work to build the health of the land.
- I have some experience processing animals for meat (and a lot of excitement to learn more)
- I have some experience with small scale building projects. I am comfortable using power tools such as drills, circular saws, reciprocating saws and a wood splitter.

Jesse:
- I am a certified yoga teacher and currently teach a weekly practice as well as some workshops in mindfulness, self-compassion and ecstatic dance; I have some experience teaching yoga to kids and developmentally disabled adults.
- I work as a mentor/peer counsellor for university students, and am finishing up my degree in Psychology with future plans to become a psychotherapist using nature, expressive arts and self/bodily awareness as therapeutic modalities
- I've spent 2 summers planting trees in the Canadian west, where working outdoors in all conditions is a must-love
- I have travelled around volunteering/work-staying with a variety of diverse and unique people and projects, involving trail clearing (winter & summer), basic construction (power & hand tools), gardening, tending to farm animals, raising and processing chickens for meat, cooking for large groups, daily homesteading labour, etc
- I am somewhat tech-savvy and have done some writing, editing, transcribing, researching, website/newsletter maintenance etc for hosts
