ABOUT ME

I lived in Liverpool for 10 years (on and off). I know the city well; I should do my work takes me on home visits all over the city on my bike. I love cycling! In March 2012 we moved out of the city a bit (still only 25 mins by bus) and now live on the other side of the river Mersey, right by the beach in New Brighton.
I also like going for long walks and exploring, this means it's a shame I don't live somewhere like Cornwall. This is where I grew up, on the edge of Bodmin Moor, 12 miles from the sea. However I find if your willing to wander, exploring can still be fun in the city. The longest walk I have done is El Camino de Santiago for those in the know. For those of you who aren't read 'The Pilgrimage' by Paulo Coelho... or give it a go! :)
I like a challenge but I frequently set myself too many!

PHILOSOPHY

I live to get the most out of what I do.
I do this so that when I am an old Granny, sat in a chair by my fire with my Grandchildren I will have interesting stories to tell!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

ONE thing!
The most amazing place I've been is Quilotoa in Ecuador. We were in 2 canoes, in the middle of a lake, in a crater, in an extinct volcano, in the Andes. Nobody else was there and it made me feel so small.
They had a thunderstorm at night and there was no thunder just lightening... very strange.
