HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Been involved, offline and on for some years now. It still never fails to surprise me how mutually beneficial such meetings can be. Right now I haven't used the site for awhile because I was always moving or travelling.

Since that looks like it's going to change, I'm going to reconnect with this site and everyone to see what's up, what's new, and who wants to do some couching.

I've met some amazing folks through this site. Some people in my closest circle I would not have met if it weren't for Couching.

I have a Bachelor of Science equivalent in cognitive science in the field of robotic ethics and singularity theory with a minor in physics through MIT's open learning

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the side of a mountain, I felt conscious of the moment, a clarity and stillness I would later discover I could find again and again without the mountain, without the snow, with only my breath in the moment. It's a momentary flash of perfect equanimity.

It's a simple statement, and yet incredibly meaningful. I believe they're right. When it comes to living in a planet which is sometimes a real pain in the behind, grossly unjust, often inhumain, and ecologically damaged, it's important to have hope. It's essential to believe that things can be different for all of us. It's vital that our life's work... now, today, become harmonious with the cause of freedom from oppression, justice for all life, and peace for humanity.
