Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Books are a daunting task. I love books like I love oxygen. I love poetry, sci fi, romance, novels, memoirs, short stories, theory, philosophy, I even like reading pamphlets. I love the classics - Austen, Dickens, etc. I love new authors like Sandra Cisneros, Audre Lorde, Octavia Butler. I love slam poets like Saul Williams and radical thinkers like Heinlein. I love obscure books. Books that smell old and are missing pages. Books that are brand new. I love to touch books, feel them and write in them and fold them down. I love my own writing bound in a book with a spine and ink on paper. I love digital books you can carry in your pocket. I remember the devastating moment in middle school when I did the math and realized that even at my current rate of 1 book per day (I don't read that many any more) there is no way I would ever read all the books. I was morose for weeks.

I can teach poetry and other forms of writing, I can do a little bit of yoga. I'm a 4th generation massage therapist, though I don't do that for a living. I can show you how to plan an event or long term project. I'm a great wing man. I'd love to learn any form of martial arts, how to fly on/in/with a plane, helicopter, paraglider, hang glider, trapeze, aerial silks, etc. I would like to learn new languages, and more formal dance steps.
