Hello!
I'm Sam, I like to travel but for now I am back home living in the UK while I try and get my dream of working in conservation off the ground. I'm a big wildlife enthusiast and can usually be found out looking for birds, insects or plants. Travelling for me has two sides, I get to enjoy the culture, people, food and scenery, whilst also enjoying all the new wildlife the region has! Most recently I traveled around Asia, I started in Mongolia and travelled overland right down to Singapore, staying in hostels and with workaway hosts. I'd like to travel to Eastern Europe when I next get the chance to go away, but as a I say, for now I'm working on my skills to enter to conservation job market so I can help work towards natures recovery from the anthropogenic mess it currently finds itself in. Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I like meeting new people and having good conversation, and I much prefer living in the company of local people than with other tourists in a hostel. This way I get a much better experience of what local life is like away from the beaten track of tourist hotspots.
