About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To collect and disperse memes as needed.

ABOUT ME

A dabble will do ya. After having restrained myself due to being required to be professional as a teacher, my biorhythms have been urging me to be a bit more Dionysian, or perhaps it is the recent passing of the winter equinox. I could take personal responsibility and say I'm looking to soak up whatever I can in this world, but who wants that?

And I use the book, Stranger in a Strange Land, as a headrest.

Oh, and I don't live anywhere. Sorry I can't offer a couch, but I certainly will whenever I end up situated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had much experience thru this site, per se, but I used to host a den of depravity during university. Three bedrooms, eleven people, stuffed in closets, hammocks, cars, sprawled out in the yard. The best part of it all was there never was a dull moment, always someone to join along for whatever merriment.

Interests

Gee-tar, noise rock, the night, re-imprinting (possible??)

At the moment, the effects of genes on culture (it's sites like this that make it so much more obvious). I studied neuroscience in school, so I'm prone to rambling on about it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: My favorite directors are Gregg Araki and Michael Heneke. Terry Gilliam does me well too. In more generic terms, horror, scifi and post-apocalyptic.

Music: Certainly, Pere Ubu, Sonic Youth, The Pop Group. Noise, noise, noise (rock). Though, not noise all the time. If the dancing must be done it's industrial like Front 242, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Nitzer Ebb. You know, like that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent the last two years planning for this trip and actually went thru with it. I never have foresight, so I have no idea how that came to be.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Mexico, Mongolia, Netherlands, North Korea, Norway, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
