About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to learn and then teach. to tolerate and then spread tolerance. to have fun and then make fun.
ABOUT ME
I used to fix nuclear plants for a living, but I quit that job and decided to volunteer my time for a few months to help change my country. Best decision ever! Now I work at a small product development firm in Philly and love my job.
I am not from Philly originally, but I love being here and enjoy showing it off, as well as discovering new parts.
PHILOSOPHY
I thrive on ideas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The best way to travel is with locals. I think Couchsurfing brings out the best in us and I try to host as much as I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only surfed once actually, but I've hosted a number of fascinating people from around the world. And I would host any one of them again.
Interests
Live Music. Renewable energy. Cubism. Also, I really want to learn how to kite surf.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music interests are broad, but I have a thing for singer-songwriters. Especially Neko Case. Other artists I listen to regularly would be: Led Zeppelin, Ben Folds, The New Pornographers, Iron & Wine, Stars, Jenny Lewis... the list could go on for a while.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I found myself in the middle of a dolphin migration in Angra dos Reis, Brazil. Dolphins jumping out of the water as far as the eye could see. Thousands of them. Even the locals had never seen such a thing.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Greece, Mexico, United Kingdom, Virgin Islands, U.S.
Countries I’ve Lived In
