Aloha my name is Chris and I live on the incredible island of Kaua‘i with two of the most amazing individuals in the universe, Spirit and Guillermo. Spirit is in her late 70s and is the head of a npo that teaches the importance of unconditional love. Spirit and her late husband Sunow adopted, fostered, and supported over 50 children in their lifetime and Spirit is now writing books and beginning to teach online. Guillermo and I are her in home caregivers, assisting Spirit in unfolding whatever she is dreaming up and we are constantly dreaming! Now for Guillermo. He may be the most talented and skilled musician on the planet. Whenever he picks up an instrument the birds sing just a bit louder, I swear. The only thing sweeter than G's music is his character. I have yet to meet any other humans besides Spirit and G who are more willing to be in true loving service to the world and it's a blessing to have found them both. Guillermo is also an accomplished videographer and artist and he and I operate a production company together. As for me, I wear many hats. I am Spirits property manager, an art therapist, psychology researcher, founder of my own organization, business owner, etc. In truth what i am is a guy who's out to make the world a bit more magical day by day and I love to share that with others. So come join in the fun. We surf, adventure, camp, cliff jump, fire spin, hot tub, beach fire, hold weekly community events, movie nights, gourmet cooking, world class music, we gots it all!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The root of enthusiasm is entheos, which means, with God. Inspiration is that which is in spirit. I know this sounds cheesy but in all my research I have found these to be key elements to an important formula for successful creation. Follow that which you find inspiring until you feel enthusiasm and the universe will enhance the quality of your output. When we travel we are constantly forced into the present state because everything is new and novel and your subconscious is active to make sure you are safe. In this state you have the opportunity to become aware of your own true inspirations and so can directly tap into higher states of creation. Since we caregive for our dearest friend Spirit we don't have the frequent availability to travel so, we have decided to invite the travelers to us. We have a beautiful space available and we love to share and fill it with the flow of new and wonderful personalities and perspectives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

7 years ago when I was living a tiny island off the coast of puerto rico I had a dream one night that I was riding a mule from the Pacific ocean to the Atlantic ocean. It was so vivid and felt so real that 2 years ago I attempted to ride a mule from Vietnam to Portugal teaching my therapeutic Art method and music theory. The Palestinian-Israeli situation occurred along my route and so I returned to Hawaii to teach and plan my next attempt.

Teach, Learn, Share

I created a therapeutic Art method that allows anyone to turn any conflict in their life into a gift that benefits them. I am in the process of unfolding the 2.0 version of the method at this time and it has been really fun and amazing to witness it's birth. I also teach guitar and song writing as well as a number of other methods and practices. The main goal is empowering others to become their own guides.
