Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I only joined the couch surfing community recently, and hope to participate by hosting, meeting up with people while travelling and who are travelling, and of course, to try out couch surfing myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any experience with couch surfing yet, but hopefully(fingers crossed) in the next month or so, I will be able to change this...

Interests

Reading, Wushu, Lion Dance, Netball, Movies, and Music. I also enjoy outdoor activities, spoken word, checking out new gigs and events, trying out new recipes, new food and travelling, of course!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies.
These are just some of the movies I watched and enjoyed immensely, and will probably watch again.

The Godfather(Part 2, then Part 1, but not the 3rd!), Snatch, Fight Club, Lord of the Rings, Death at a Funeral(the British version), About A Boy (actually most hugh grant movies), Catch Me If You Can, Mean Girls(it's funny! come on!), The Breakfast Club, Grease, The Sound of Music, Napolean Dynamite, Youth in Revolt, Gladiator and honestly, I could keep going there are just way too many.

Music.
I like a lot of different types of music, from music by Ellie Golding to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Though my absolute favourites would be John Mayer, REM, Dave Matthews Band, Metallica, Nirvana, Corrine Bailey Rae, Frank Sinatra and Bill Withers.

Books.
I read virtually anything really, it depends on what I feel for. I really enjoy books by Jeffrey Archer, my favourite being The Eleventh Commandment, and Sue Townsend's Adrian Mole and The Queen and I(which is absolutely hilarious). The Harry Potter series, The Curious incident of the dog in the night time, Vernon God Little, John Grisham novels, Much Ado About Nothing, Phoolan Devi Bandit Queen, and when I feel for something light and easy, I read Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic Series.

TV shows!
I religiously follow South Park, Family Guy, Bored to Death, Community, Castle and Califonication.

Teach, Learn, Share

The one thing I can truly offer, would be to teach you about Malaysia, our culture and give you a bit of insight into the way things work. I can teach you how to speak a some Danish or Malay.
