About Me
CURRENT MISSION
In one word: Inspire! I especially love to show beauty to other people, be it in music, art, ideas or anywhere else.
ABOUT ME
I love music, summer, great food (no McDonalds ... PLEASE), people, of course travelling, and a lot more. I've seen the world, but not enough of it! As a hobbyist bartender I sometimes make cool cocktails.
I'm also a digital wizard.
I have been told that I have no idea what effect I have on others. I would agree violently.
I consider my formal education the least important part since I'm mostly self-taught, but I have a diploma degree in media computer science (roughly equivalent to a master's) and a minor degree in psychology.
My travel description is very incomplete. I've been to many places and feel a bit lazy about updating it accurately ... doesn't really matter, does it?
PHILOSOPHY
I'm here to enjoy life and share the positivity. Also, I think it's important and interesting to view things from many different angles. Look behind the eyes of the person in front of you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to host people, show them the city (especially the fabulous Neustadt where I live), cook for/with them, share/listen to stories, music, ...
I like to think of myself as extremely easy-going. If you host me, I'm happy with just a sofa (or even the floor if I bring an inflatable mattress). Nothing else is needed, but everything is appreciated!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfing experience has been 100% positive so far, yay! Went to San Francisco, Moscow, Miami and probably some other places.
I also hosted quite a few people in Dresden and only had nice encounters.
Am a bit concerned about airbnb taking people away from here, but I'll stay ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
movies: fight club, snatch, pulp fiction, dark city, the usual suspects, sin city, spun, donnie darko, v for vendetta, casshern, the fountain, hero, the incredibles, monsters inc., amelie, planet terror, mr. brooks, natural born killers, inglorious basterds, nightwatch, office space, american beauty, harold and maude, the royal tenenbaums, hot fuzz, scott pilgrim vs the world, so many more...music: oh dear, where to start? My favorite band is probably Archive, they're phenomenal. Apart from that it's really hard to sum it all up. I like almost everything except traditional German music and modern RnB (I also have problems with Jazz, but I like some a lot). So, classical music (Bach!), big beat, psytrance, hip hop, rock, you name it.books: Goedel Escher Bach by Douglas Hofstadter, fight club & stranger than fiction by Chuck Palahniuk, "surely you're joking, Mr. Feynman!" by Richard Feynman, anything by Stanislaw Lem, Umberto Eco, Kurt Vonnegut, Terry Pratchett, and to a lesser degree Douglas Adams (seriously, if you read the hitchhiker's guide, stop after the second book)Recently I've read "a practical guide to racism" and found it HILARIOUS
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
