Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live out all my crazy dreams while I'm studying here in Oz, and hopefully to live them with as many new friends as possible!
ABOUT ME
Well, I'm a pretty simple person. I get easily excited by small things. I want to experience everything, see the world, meet everyone!! I love rock and metal music, festivals, sunshine, beaches, reading, relaxing, dancing, laughing, travelling, swimming, partying (dressing up is one of my favourite things!)....
I love philosophy and I'm happy to talk about life and death and the meaning of life and what science is all day... but I still love shoes and chocolate and all sorts of shallow things too.
I've always worked a part-time job outside of my studies - hospitality jobs are my favourites because I get to meet new and exciting people, and hear all sorts of amazing stories.
PHILOSOPHY
I guess my personal philosophy would be "this too will pass" which gets me through the bad times and help me live the good times to the max!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't travelled much before now, but since coming to Oz I have well and truly been bitten by the travelling bug! The second I have a fixed address I would love to have as many awesome people come and stay as possible! Until then, I want to see the East of Australia, and meet as many people as possible along the way! I want to skydive, and bunjee jump and scuba dive and jetski and ... the list goes on to be honest, and I'd love to find people to do that with!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None as yet, but there's a first time for everything! I promise I am very respectful of other people's homes, and if it helps I really love baking puddings :D
Interests
Oh, I kind of already did this under about me...
I'm obviously very interested in neuroscience and psychology, but also philosophy, history of science, ethics, language and lots of other things! I like funny coincidences and hearing stories :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:- Hmm, not a massive movie buff, but I guess my 5 favourites (maybe) are
Fight Club
Ghost
Love Actually
The Poseidon Adventure (the original one)
And probably some sort of musical :) (Chicago, Sweeney Todd, The Sound of Music, etc)
Music:- It would be impossible to list all the bands I love, so I'll do top 5 genres...
Metal (including heavy, thrash, love, alternative, niche...)
Rock
Folk
Cheesy 80s and 90s pop
Reggae
Books:-
I love a good trashy holiday novel as much as the next girl, but I love reading good books too!
Favourite authors (off the top of my head)
Stephen King
Roald Dahl
James Herriot
Agatha Christie
George Orwell
Bill Bryson
Jeffrey Archer
Patricia Cornwell
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the best nights I ever spent was on an adventure recently! I went for a week away with one of my friends in a car with no real plan - and ended up spending the night in an abandoned hut in a forest by a stream, playing cards and drinking red wine by candlelight! :) I love spontaneous adventures
Teach, Learn, Share
This is fab! I love this idea!
I dont know what I have to offer really - I'm still just learning all about the world myself!
For now, I'll put dancing but I wouldn't say I was an expert - I just love it and have done it all my life :)
