ABOUT ME

I enjoy experiencing things I have never done before!!! And learning languages... Love love love it, though I've managed to only learn French to a decent level. If you want to help me with Swahili, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin or any other language, it would be super welcome!

I believe it's never too late to learn something new. I also believe small efforts make a big difference. I'm spiritual or rather work towards self-awarenss, but I define it by my own way. I think it's helped me become a slightly better listener... You'll need to meet me and tell me!

I think it would be better to know me well by meeting me :) I love to have conversations and love to listen to stories, and I'm sure its easy to get comfortable around me.

I love thrift stores and am trying to limit buying new things as much as possible. So if you know any thrift stores in town, I would love to know about them.

Also, I don't appreciate homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism (even the subtle kind), Islamophobia, anti-semitism.. you get the picture. I also don't appreciate insensitive cultural appropriation or attack on indigenous cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I just recently moved to Europe haven't been able to couchsurf much but would love to be more active very soon. Can meet up for a coffee or a walk along the river Seine for sure.

I listen to podcasts more than music now! If you're interested in some recommendations, do ask me when we meet. Caliphate, Serial and S-Town are some of my favourite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing????hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...I suppose the word amazing defines different things to different people.
Having grown a little older and hopefully wiser I think the most amazing thing I've experienced in my life is watching myself redefine Me in the different phases of my life.
Also bungee jumping and moving to Paris!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you any of the languages I speak. I could probably also teach you basic of cooking a few indian cuisines, but I'm not the best chef so we can manage with what we have.

I would love to learn dancing! Any form of dance from your community or your interests. I've tried a few folk dances and even a little salsa. I'm not great at moving gracefully but I still would love to learn!

I can share my tiny room to host whenever I can. I can share whatever I've learnt from my travels, readings and life experiences for sure. I study and work in the field of education, so teaching, learning and sharing is all I believe in. 😊

I can also give a lot of information about travelling in South Asia, mostly India, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives.
