ABOUT ME

George Farfaras received his degree in Aesthetics and Cosmetology from School of Health and Care Professions at Technological Educational Institution of Athens (tertiary level, 4 years) in 1992. With interest in health and beauty journalism and professional education as student worked for the 1st Hellenic Radio Broadcast for the program “20 minutes …for your health” and in 1994 took over “Aesthetics Today”, a quarterly magazine for professional beauticians as Chief Editor.

In 1995 establishes Parallaxis, a private company in marketing, communication, advertising, marketing and sales services in beauty sector and as a licensed aesthetician. That period participates as president in Panhellenic Union of Medical Aesthetics and works with educational and government authorities and prepares the official magazine and educational publications for Hellenic Union of Beauticians and teaches theory classes in beauty vocational schools. Also worked for professional cosmetics companies for aestheticians, dermatologists, plastic surgeons and laser centers in areas of marketing, sales and education and introduced Apilus Electropil Centers. By that time, his interest and efforts in the beauty profession awarded from Hellenic Federation of Professional Aestheticians Unions with his election as 1st vice president.

In the new millennium, he expands in other trade networks and product philosophy in the field of natural products and quality projects in beauty and wellness services worked for Epicuren® cosmetics for professional aestheticians, Biogroup® management design for health and beauty sector, Weleda®, Jourlique® and Primavera® cosmetics for pharmacies, beaty salons, spas and bio-shops. 我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Since 2011 I have been certified as an auditor for Bicycle Policy Audit, and I am in charge of the National Coordination Center for the European Network for Cycling Routes - Eurovelo. With the Ecological Movement of Thessaloniki member of the European Cyclists Federation (ECF), I work since 2009 to create a national cycling policy and entry of cycling policies relating to health, environment, transport, tourism, employment and economy.
