Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To build my strength, wisdom, and compassion in order to be the stability someone needs and to prevent hope from becoming a myth.
ABOUT ME
I have always made art. I will be a student for the rest of my life. My practice is through human interactions that push the limits of my comfort, compassion, patience, understanding, and personal beliefs. This has lead me away from people and into others. I work tirelessly on becoming a better person for myself and for others. I juggle. Walk on stilts. Participate in the Kinetic sculpture race. DJ for local radio stations. Work local music shows and set up the cafe and herd baristas at Burning Man! At any given point in time I'm reading three or more books and have no less than eight different projects going. I don't stretch enough or eat enough greens. I am a happy, open, and trusting person. There is no situation that doesn't have room for understanding and optimism.
PHILOSOPHY
live and let live.
This too shall pass.
What will be, will be.
To know all is to forgive all.
If you are neutral in the sight of injustice you are on the side of the oppressor.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Romania to a small town outside of Bucharest that isn't on any map I have ever seen. I did humanitarian clowning with Patch Adams. The orphans we stayed with were so hungry for love and interaction. There was nothing they didn't want to do so long as they felt your heart was there with them. These children used to live in a small one room house with dirt floors and no windows, heat, or water. A man named Mino Dimato found them and with the help of Patch Adams they built these children an orphanage. They were exiled from everyone around then because they had AIDS. Many people in Romania still believe that it can spread just by touch and interaction. These children arent allowed to play with the other kids in the village. They were hungry, I had so much I wanted to give, and I never wanted to leave. My heart is in Romania.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm intersted in learning any new techniques for any medium of art. Teach me a whole new medium! I'm also interested in herbs and natural remedies to things. Here's something small I can share: In a single bee's lifetime they, on average, will only produce about 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey.I love sharing music. That's the best of all. I'm currently working on musical saw.
