COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Met Spanish 'Hector' in Bolivia. He showed me around and we shared meals. It was lovely to have a friend who spoke a little English and fluent ESpaniol. I had people from Europe stay at my home some years ago.
Interests
I collect pictures of wild animals from book I find in OpShops and cut them out and make collages with them. Knit body warmers.
We are a species needing healing, starting with ourselves,
my family is in great need for it.
I imagine I have a small role to play in this.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
* The day I attended a gathering on Sydney Harbour with Aboriginal tribes from all over Australia came together on 'Invasion Day'. 1988
The European decendants description is" Australia Day" and they carried out the invasion re-enactment with big ships streaming into Sydney Harbour)
Captain James Cook wrote in his journal on 23 August 1770: "these people may truly be said to be in the pure state of nature, and may appear to some to be the most wretched upon the earth; but in reality they are far happier than ... we Europeans".
Captain Cook landed, took possession on behalf of the British Empire.
*This gathering then became an all night corroboree, a dance, and ceremony between many tribes as they exchanged message sticks of unity and peace.
We were invited to stay and be part of it, amazing experience!!!
