so, i'm a teacher/musician/traveler. love the outdoors, be it beach, mountains, or somewhere in between. i love music, language, and culture in general, and am here to share and learn. we're all here to make this beautiful world a better place for ourselves and everyone else, so let's do it together. i'm always looking to meet new, wonderful people, and to share a story, a laugh, a drink, a song...

PHILOSOPHY

the earth is an amazing place, and if we will listen to her, she will take care of us. i believe in living responsibly, in assuming a quiet, peaceful, nurturing path. i believe that many of the differences in this life are only seen as differences because some people are so quick to find sameness, and if we can get away from that, many of our problems will fix themselves. people, love, family, friends, these are important, and i firmly believe in the elastic family.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none through this site, but i've certainly found myself on various couches in paris, senegal, northern brazil, cape verde, pretty much everywhere i've been i've landed on a couch at least once, and come away each time with a new and wonderful understanding and story. my couch is typically open unless i'm sleeping on one somewhere myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

without thinking too hard, i have to say that a lovely february day doing the backcountry snowboarding thing at silverton in colorado was amazing. only a few of us out there, hiking in short sleeves in 20 degree weather, only to float down the mountain...wow...

Teach, Learn, Share

i can help with language and guitar, and i've always got an extra guitar around if someone wants to learn. as for me, i'm willing to learn anything if you're passionate enough about it to want to share it.
