CURRENT MISSION

I'm making a travel documentary with an aim to show the cheap and wonderful ways to travel for people who think it might be too expensive

ABOUT ME

All of my friends know me as a traveler. If I'm not physically traveling, I'm planning another trip. I usually go it alone, which isn't necessarily what I prefer, but is easier because then you don't have to have schedules coincide with another person. Plus traveling independently has opened new horizons for me and has allowed me to become a little less shy :)

PHILOSOPHY

The world is so connected now through TV, internet and traveling... EVERYone should travel as much as they can before responsibilities make it difficult. I actually wrote my senior thesis for college on the subject and made a 45 minute documentary about the importance of traveling and studying abroad!

I've surfed a few times and hosted a few times. It's such a great way to really get to see a city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had a bad experience. It's amazing having a host that knows the area and if they can't take you places, they can at least tell you where to go. I never would've tried some foods and drinks if I didn't have a host coax me.

Interests

I'm interested in almost everything. I love learning fun little facts and experiencing new things (not *always* with food though, I have a pretty lame stomach :/ )

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading adventures and mysteries and love watching movies. Personal faves would be the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind... and fave movie is Equilibrium.

Too many to count. I've been to 38 countries on 4 continents and am adding more this summer :D
