ABOUT ME
Grew up in Perth, it's the most isolated Capital city in the world.
Traveled the east coast of Australia in 2009 after being made redundant from a position I rather enjoyed - working in a Brewery across from the ocean. Ended up spending most of my time and money in Melbourne - people compare it to European Cities, I guess I can see that, except the alcohol's ten times more expensive and thirty times worse..
Next on the agenda was the UK and Europe, got a stop gap job when I was back in Perth, saved up then jumped on a plane, spent the first several weeks of my trip camping through Europe on a Contiki trip, and loved (nearly) every second of it. Lived in the UK and did a bit more touring through Europe solo, before heading to the United States and Canada in the Summer of 2011. I'm back in Perth now, for how long, we'll see...
I've worked as a barman in Oxfordshire, a glassie in Melbourne, a systems support engineer for one of the largest alcohol producers in Australia (Fosters, for those of you playing at home), a cold storage logitics operator where a warm day was 8 degrees and a cold -24 and a shopfitter working graveyard shifts in department stores. Variety, the spice of life..
I'm not able to host right now, but I am happy to meet up for coffee/adventures/wandering in Perth or Fremantle.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed a few couches in Europe, had a blast, I'd like to give something back.. at the moment, it'll be limited to catching up to explore/drink..
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Met three totally different - but equally awesome - people in three totally different cities, couchsurfing showed me things in cities I never would have found on my own.
